6-year malbec vertical

Experience the Evolution of our Malbec

Join us as we take a deep dive into one of our most expressive and beloved wines — Malbec.

For this special event, we’re opening up our cellar to present a 6-year vertical tasting of Malbec, featuring every vintage from our very first release in 2018 through our current 2023 bottling. This is a rare opportunity to explore how this wine has evolved year over year — shaped by vintage variation, vineyard expression, and time in bottle.

Malbec holds a special place in our lineup. Sourced from Les Collines Vineyard, it consistently delivers depth, structure, and vibrant fruit, while showcasing a balance of power and elegance that continues to develop beautifully with age.

With most of these vintages no longer available, this is a unique chance to revisit wines that have been long sold out and see how they’ve matured.

May 2, 2026
$35 per person

Club members receive $10 off one bottle per tasting booked.

Reservations are available at both locations. Reserve your table in Woodinville or Tacoma and join us for this immersive journey through six consecutive vintages of Malbec.

Stout Pounders
Mar

Stout Pounders

Stout Pounders is a 7 piece Celtic rock band from Seattle bringing new energy to time tested Irish and Scottish folk music while mixing in originals with influences ranging from ska to metal.

Starting as simply an idea on St. Patrick’s Day 2006, when founding members gathered at a pub that lacked the vibe and entertainment they were looking for, it was proclaimed that one year from then they would be the band playing the pubs they enjoyed attending. The rest as they say is history! Stout Pounders grew in size, purpose and popularity, becoming one of the most sought after Celtic acts in the Pacific Northwest. Having played several festivals, pubs, theaters, and events from Canada to Arizona, Stout Pounders has proven to be the band people want to see.

The band is Darin Wallace: lead vocals, bodhran and tin whistle, Marc Wallace: acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, Christian Hoffman: Bouzouki and Tele-banjo guitar, Jimmy McKnight: Bagpipes, whistles and accordion, Alice Cloutier: fiddle, Amber Crea: Drums, Phil Tsai: Bass guitar.

With amazing energy, comedic elements, and solid musicianship the band has amassed a strong following and international fanbase of people who just want to have a fun time. Dancing and jigging is highly encouraged and they certainly won’t stop you from tipping back a drink or two along the way.

Al capone CLUB winter release Party

It’s release time again, and we’re kicking off the new year with our Al Capone Club Winter Release Party, happening January 10 & 11. This celebration is exclusive to wine club members, and the tasting room will be closed to the public both days while we host the event.

This release is a milestone for us, as it marks the first wines from our 2023 vintage—including the debut release of our 2023 Tannat, the first time we’ve ever released this varietal.

We’ll be pouring:

  • 2023 Tannat (Debut Release)

  • 2023 “Hatchet” Clone 6 Cabernet Sauvignon

  • 2023 Cabernet Franc

To pair with these bold new releases, we’re serving up a playful winter spread featuring steak bites and decadent 62% cacao chocolate fondue, alongside a variety of dippables including charred jalapeño peppers and berry skewers. Mix, match, dip—or don’t—and discover your favorite pairings.

Club members: please check your email and be sure to RSVP by January 2.

Nick Mardon Trio

The Nick Mardon Trio is a high-energy Blues-Rock power trio from Seattle, WA, known for their fiery musicianship and dynamic live performances. Blending the raw power of 60s and 70s blues-rock trios with the grit of 90s Seattle rock, they deliver a sound that’s both nostalgic and electric. Their setlist of over 300 songs features original music alongside timeless covers from artists like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Sublime, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, and more—lighting up venues, events, parties, and wineries across the region.

Led by guitarist and vocalist Nick Mardon, with Adin Pennington on bass and vocals and Andy Emery on drums, the trio formed when Nick was just 17. Since then, they’ve played more than 500 shows across the Pacific Northwest and have become one of Seattle’s premier working bands. Their résumé includes appearances at The Tractor Tavern, Bake’s Place, Hard Rock Cafe Seattle, Highway 99 Blues Club, The Historic Everett Theatre, Little Big Fest, Washington Beer Festival, and Jazz in the Valley.

Wine Futures Barrel Tasting

Join us for a unique behind-the-scenes tasting experience: an exclusive preview of our 2025 vintage straight from the barrel — inspired by the French En Primeur tradition.

Begin your visit with a tasting flight (complimentary for wine club members), then head into the cellar where winemaker Sandor will be pouring barrel samples of the upcoming vintage and sharing insights on how these young wines are developing.

This is a rare chance to taste wines in their earliest form, learn about the winemaking process, and glimpse the future of Prohibition Cellars. Tasting flight required (club members free). Walk-in barrel pours available after flight purchase.

We hope you’ll join us for this special tasting event — sip, learn, and taste the future.

Chimney Cakes

We will have one of our favorite holiday treats here again this holiday season: chimney cakes! Courtesy of Turul Foods, chimney cakes will be available for purchase, made fresh to order. Delicious dough slowly turned over a gas grill and rolled in a variety of yummy flavors from the traditional sweet vanilla sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon sugar to the savory bacon and jalapeño & cheddar and newly pistachio. Is your mouth watering yet? Ours is! This is a very popular event. In trying to make make sure everyone coming will be able to get a chimney cake and to limit the amount of wait time, Turul Foods will not be accepting any online orders and there will be a limit on max number of chimney cakes per family. They will be serving fresh on-site until supplies last!
