Join us for an epic night of Hungarian culture shared with you through food, song, and dance! Sandor will make his delicious, homemade gulyás and, providing entertainment for the evening, will be the four-piece folk ensemble, Dûvô Zenekar, who will be joined by two guest musicians from the famous Szászcsávás band from Transylvania, and play Hungarian folk music for you in the traditional style. Accompanying the band will be two dancers, Gábor Norbert and Nóra Gál, both previous and former members of the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble and winners of the International Couples’ Dance Competition. Professional folk singer Erika Juhász will be adding vocals and performing this evening as well. The cost of this event is $25 and includes one bowl of gulyás. $10 of all proceeds will be donated to HAAW, the Hungarian American Association of Washington.
